While cycling in the countryside of central Brittany, France, Céline and her husband Daniel stumbled upon a small, lost calico cat.
Céline shared with Love Meow a story of how she and her partner were driving on a peaceful road through the forest.
Suddenly, they heard a loud screech coming from a patch of fern on the roadside. Thinking it was a bird, they stopped the car to investigate. That’s when they found a scared kitten crying.
Initially, the kitten was hesitant to approach them, but Céline spoke softly to gain her trust. Soon, the kitty felt safe enough to approach and even wanted cuddles.
Céline recounted how the kitten was clinging to her with her claws and crying, making it clear they had to get her back home.
They had no safe way to keep the kitten secure in their jerseys as she was constantly moving, so they hurriedly returned home to get their car.
After placing the kitten in her hiding spot, they set off, driving as fast as possible while hoping the kitten wouldn’t wander off.
After arriving home, they immediately grabbed a box and headed back. Céline recounted to Embora Cats how, upon calling out to the kitten, it emerged from its hiding spot in the ferns and ran towards her.
The kitten then jumped into her arms, seemingly ready to go home with them. Céline’s husband was treated to a grooming session by the grateful kitten that evening.
Mini Kitty was named and quickly took to eating and sleeping to make up for lost time. She found comfort next to Céline or Daniel and has since become the family’s biggest cuddler, hugging anyone and anything snuggly.
As relayed by Céline to Embora Cats, Mini Kitty is an affectionate and lively cat who eagerly greets her owners with head butts and purrs upon hearing them getting up. Moreover, she is known for her loud purr motor.
It doesn’t matter who you are, Mini Kitty hugs anyone that could use a cuddle.
Among the family’s pets, Mini Kitty is the youngest and the most cuddly. She enjoys snuggling up with her canine buddy for a nap.
