In a heartwarming act of kindness, a Good Samaritan came across an abandoned kitten in the middle of the road and took quick action to save it by slowing down the oncoming traffic.

The adorable kitten found herself in the caring hands of the veterinary team, who swiftly identified a broken leg and a wounded front paw. With the utmost concern for her well-being, they wasted no time contacting their local rescue, seeking a nurturing foster home to aid in her recuperation.
“Best Friends Felines received a request for assistance from the vet clinic regarding an adorable cat they named Sloane.”

After a day, Sloane showed progress as she regained partial use of her front paw. Eager to make the most of her newfound strength, she charmed the caring veterinary staff.
Sloane’s purr motor ran nonstop as she chirped for attention and head scritches, displaying her resilience by using a shallow litter tray despite her completely limp back leg.

She initiated her recovery process in a serene and pleasant environment, being attentively cared for by a committed volunteer.
According to Kerry, the foster mom, this remarkable feline has left a lasting impression on our hearts. Her super sweet nature, loud purr, remarkable resilience, and absolute beauty make her the epitome of perfection.

A few weeks later, the kitten met Miley, an orange cat, and Pearl, a cat with a distinctive seal point coat. Miley and Pearl are both blind cats who were rescued together and now live happily with Kerry and her family.
They took the little newcomer under their wings as if they knew just what she needed.

Inspired by her feline companions, Sloane discovered the power to conquer her disabilities and embrace a more mobile lifestyle.
As she develops greater mobility and confidence, she effortlessly ascends the cat tree and is now capable of safely descending on her own.

The way she adeptly maneuvers with her three working legs, showcasing her own style of parkour, is undeniably captivating to watch.
Sloane has found a way to run with her leg that doesn’t work, holding it up on the side, and she never lets anything slow her down.

When Sloane’s front paw got better, they noticed something amazing – she started using her weak back leg and putting weight on it.
“We did not expect this improvement but we couldn’t be more excited.”

Around that time, Kerry started looking after two more kittens who couldn’t see. One of them, named Amigo, was an orange cat. Amigo really liked Sloane, and they started spending time together every day.
“She is loving life, loving her friend (Amigo), and just being generally awesome and adorably cute.”

The rescue organization maintains hope that Sloane’s leg will progressively improve, and they are willing to take any necessary measures to ensure her optimal quality of life.

Despite a challenging beginning, Sloane’s unwavering trust and love persist. Now, she embarks on her journey to overcome obstacles, supported by compassionate individuals and understanding feline companions.
