A pair of blind kittens, covered in fleas and with stomach issues, were taken to a veterinary clinic for rescue last month.

The clinic contacted Best Friends Felines, a cat rescue in Brisbane, who immediately took them in. According to Nikki from Best Friends Felines, the little colorpoint girl has microphthalmia while the ginger girl has anophthalmia.

Despite their conditions, the sisters quickly charmed volunteers with their sweet temperament and impeccable ability to navigate their new space.

Pearl and Miley are the perfect addition to your family. These litter-trained kittens are bright, happy, and playful, and they never stop purring when they hear you.

Kerry, their foster mom, was surprised at how quickly they figured out their surroundings and now have the run of the entire room.

Meet Pearl, the beautiful colorpoint, and Miley, the ginger with a constant smiley face, and fall in love.

Kerry was immediately amazed by these incredible kittens who seem to have a knack for everything.

From using their litter box flawlessly to finding their food and water with ease, these kittens play like normal kittens but with a daring sense of adventure.

Kerry shared that the kittens are fearless little daredevils, exploring every corner of the room with enthusiasm.

Pearl and Miley, despite being completely blind, are fearless and inquisitive, and nothing seems to slow them down.

I left the room for errands and upon returning, found them both sitting atop the cat tree, looking extremely pleased with themselves.

Kerry marveled at the sight of the blind babies playing and navigating around the room with such ease that it was hard to tell they were visually impaired. She couldn’t help but smile as she watched them.

In the first week of foster care, Kerry observed an extraordinary bond between the two girls.

At the vet’s office, the sisters arrived in one carrier. When Kerry took Miley out for her examination, Pearl became frantic and tried to break out to find her sister within two minutes. Miley, too, was worried that Pearl wasn’t nearby.

Kerry, a foster parent for over 15 years, was amazed at the bond between Pearl and Miley. During their examination, they sat together calmly, confirming what Kerry had been thinking all week – these two need to stay together.

After recovering from their health issues, the two are ready to explore the rest of the house. To allow them to start exploring outside of their room, the kitten room door is open during the day. Although they haven’t ventured too far yet, they are certainly curious.

With their cardboard scratchy toy and feather wands with bells attached, these kittens are obsessed. Their incredible accuracy at catching the wand toy never fails to put their humans in awe.
