Ellen Richter, a foster carer residing in Las Vegas, was notified about a female cat and her litter of six kittens found outside in a neighborhood.

Two carriers were discovered, one with a mother cat and her kittens, the other with two adult cats that could be the mother cat’s siblings, found by the neighbors.
According to Ellen’s statement to Embora Cats, the pets were abandoned on the sidewalk by their owners, and they were rescued by compassionate neighbors who promptly sought assistance.

After seeing my post about the cat’s mother and her kittens in danger, my friend took charge and effectively coordinated their rescue, including transport and sponsorship from a rescue group.
The two adult cats were taken in by another rescue organization, given proper medical attention including neutering, and made ready for adoption.

Last weekend, Valentina the cat’s mom, and her kittens were brought into foster care with Ellen. This was done to ensure they had a comfortable place to raise their babies and plenty of food to feast on.
After a long and tiring ordeal, Valentina lay in bed with her kittens, finally able to unwind and get some much-needed rest.

Ellen shared with Embora Cats that she chose not to move the sleeping person, and instead sat on the floor, comforting her with gentle words, reassuring her that she need not worry anymore.
“I would like to think she knew she was finally safe in a home and finally relaxed.”

Valentina was content with her new, comfortable nest that had blankets and an unlimited food source. She spent the day purring happily.

The mother cat is extremely protective of her kittens, and she tends to their every need.

The pet expresses gratitude for the assistance provided by her foster mother and has started to enjoy spending time with humans, seeking affection from Ellen whenever needed.
Ellen expressed her amazement to Embora Cats at the person’s friendly demeanor, despite experiencing significant challenges over the past two days.

As the newborn kittens open their eyes for the first time, they gain new strength and curiosity. This leads to them becoming more active and wriggling around as they try to find their feet.
Mama Valentina diligently monitors her babies, preventing them from straying too far away from her.

Valentina and her kittens are happily taken care of by their foster family under a safe roof. She kneads on her blankets with bliss while her kittens snooze or nurse by her side.

Ellen shared that whenever she lays on the floor with her dog, the dog seeks comfort in her affection. Ellen reassures the dog of its beauty and promises to find it a loving home.
