Meet Captain the cat – he was rescued at 7-8 years old by Community Cat Club in South Jersey for a chance at a better life.

According to Sara Sharp, Captain likely spent his life in a hoarding situation with 20+ cats and other animals. After being rescued, Captain was patient and sweet while waiting for transport to his foster home.

Captain, a dog with a friendly and docile temperament, demonstrated a desire for affection and expressed a charming eagerness to be loved.
His endearing features, including his big doe eyes and chubby cheeks, quickly won over everyone he met, and he adapted easily to his new environment.

Captain has never had a spacious room and a large bed to himself before. He adores his new living arrangements, especially the fresh and clean blankets and soft things.
He loves spending time with his foster family, soaking up their affection. They describe him as loyal, gentle, funny, and a cuddly little attention seeker who loves kisses.

Captain remains attentive to his current family and ready to offer cuddles as needed, even as he searches for a forever home where he can thrive.
Recently, a couple discovered his profile on social media and were immediately drawn to his endearing personality and lovable nature.

When the couple visited the adoption center, they hoped Captain would like them too. Luckily, Captain was excited to see them during the meet-and-greet, and he quickly cuddled up into their arms. Sara told Embora Cats that it was definitely love at first sight, and they knew he was the one.

Captain finally achieved his dream of becoming the center of attention after seven long years. He now lives in his forever home and is the anchor to his human parents, following them around every day.

The regal parrot kitty revels in snuggling, napping, and sitting on his human’s shoulders or back. He’s the feline supervisor, ensuring that his people are never alone and always have a furry companion by their side.

Captain’s living situation has drastically improved. He went from sharing a cramped space with 20 other animals to living like royalty in his own kingdom with his dream family.

He is doing great and is so loved already. We are so happy for Captain and his new family.
