A tabby cat and her kitten have been inseparable since birth, living their dream together.
Earlier this year, Ashley Morrison, the founder of Ashley’s Kitten Academy in Washington, welcomed a mother and son duo into her home. The cat mom, Scarlet, was very timid and protective of her kitten who looked just like her.
Ashley provided a peaceful room for them to decompress and provided them with plenty of soft blankets and good food. Gradually, Scarlet began to relax and gave her little one her undivided attention. According to Ashley, “She is a great mom, and he is a very plump happy little boy.”
The cat mother, Scarlet, felt better after getting medical attention. Her kitten, Scout, was safe, and she let Ashley help. Scarlet’s tabby cat has many adorable looks, but she’s missing her upper canines, and no one knows why.
Scout’s mother showed him unconditional love and he quickly learned to purr, using it every time he was nursing or being petted.
As he thrived before her eyes, Scarlet’s maternal instincts kicked in and she began to play with toys for the first time, bringing them back to the nest for Scout to join in.
The little guy was completely fearless, and his confidence rubbed off on his mom, making them an unstoppable duo.
Scarlet’s confidence and bravery grew with each passing day, thanks to the support of her loyal kitten by her side.
After moving into their upgraded suite, Scout helped his mom settle in by energetically running around, climbing on various surfaces, and encouraging her to explore.
In a heartfelt note, Ashley expressed her pride in her mother’s increased sociability, stating, “I am so proud of her for becoming more open and comfortable in our new home.”
Ashley has noticed that Scarlet is becoming more comfortable in the room and enjoys playing with her. She often sees them cuddled up or lounging together on the cat tree, and it’s clear that they’re the best of friends.
According to Ashley, Scout and Scarlet are always playing together. Scarlet is a young girl who enjoys being petted, playing with toys, and cuddling with her baby.
Scout is an outgoing and crazy kitten who helps bring Scarlet out of her shell. Ashley notes that she could never separate these two, as they are always together and the best of friends.
Naiya applied to adopt the mother and son after following their journey. The adoption was successful, and they recently moved into their new home, where Scout has quickly established himself as the dominant force.
Although Scarlet was initially hesitant, she’s starting to adjust to her new surroundings with the help of her energetic new brother.
The energetic kitten will jump onto Naiya’s lap briefly for a cuddle before returning to his mother for a wrestling match.
Scarlet has grown more comfortable with human touch and no longer becomes stressed when Scout leaves the room for playtime. The mother and son are content to be living happily ever after.
