A cat provided warmth to her kittens during cold temperatures until they were discovered, leading to a significant change in their lives.

A stray tabby cat and her two kittens braved freezing temperatures in NL, Canada until local animal rescuers were called to help.
The rescuers were able to get them to safety. ExploitsValley SPCA reported that the mom kept her kittens alive, and the kittens were born in the wild.
The two kittens, Lillian and Gillian, never interacted with a person until they were rescued and brought into foster care at two months old.

The kittens were lacking human contact and were understandably scared. However, the volunteers at ExploitsValley SPCA quickly got to work to help the kittens build confidence.
They did this by bringing the kittens treats and showing them that they meant well. As a result, the kittens started to become more comfortable.
Meanwhile, Billie, another cat, was already enjoying her new life indoors, with a full belly and warm beds.

Billie settled into her new surroundings quickly, enthusiastically exploring and seeking attention from the volunteers.
She even approached them for nose boops and head scratches. Lillian and Gillian were much more timid, often huddling together and trying to remain out of sight behind their litter box or anything else they could find.

As they relaxed, their foster mom extended her hand to pet the sisters, only to be met with hisses.
Despite their initial resistance, the sisters gradually surrendered to the soothing sensation of each stroke, melting away their worries and fully embracing her affection.

To help kittens get comfortable with human touch, volunteers provided cuddle therapy in a purrito-style blanket, coupled with their favorite treats.
After a few sessions, the kittens started to come out of their shells.

Gillian and Lillian, two previously timid cats, have learned to trust humans through the use of treats, toys, and lots of love.
Although Gillian was initially scared and nervous, she was easy to catch and touch and quickly came around.
Lillian, on the other hand, was a bit spicier and required extra patience and love, but she too is starting to trust humans.

Mama Billie is a great mother who is showing her kittens how to be proper felines by teaching them skills like drinking from a water bowl, using a litter box, and napping in a clean, warm bed.
Additionally, she’s leading by example by asking for attention and pets, which helps her kittens learn to trust humans.

Billie and her precious kittens have endured harsh weather, but they no longer have to worry about food or shelter.
Their future looks bright, and they are ready to find their happily-ever-after.

Mama Billie is a social cat who charms everyone with her adorable, kneady paws. She is very happy that her kittens are safe and now ready to find a place to call her own.
