A diminutive kitten, completely drenched by a torrential rainstorm, clutches onto a compassionate woman in its pursuit of a more fulfilling existence.
In Florida, a Good Samaritan found a small kitten in the rain. The two-week-old was alone and needed help.
Without a mother or siblings, he was cold and hungry. The woman quickly came to his rescue and scooped him up, placing him in her shirt to dry him off.
Despite his small size, the kitten showed a lot of fight and clung to his rescuer’s shirt for warmth as they made their way home together.
Once dried and cozy, the kitten took to his bottle like a champ and craved affection. He was delighted to be in a safe and comfortable place and rested frequently to make up for lost sleep.
The woman knew the kitten required around-the-clock care and medical attention, so she contacted several rescue groups for assistance.
According to Nadija, a foster volunteer of AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue, the Good Samaritan fed the kitten with proper milk using a kitten bottle as per the vet’s recommendation.
Fortunately, the rescue had an open foster home available, and the same day, the kitten was able to move in and receive dedicated care from a loving caregiver.
After spending two weeks in foster care, the tuxedo boy was transferred to Nadija’s for treatment and socialization.
Although he has ringworm, it doesn’t bother him, as it’s not painful. We’re treating it with medicated baths and topical creams, and we anticipate he’ll make a full recovery in a few weeks.
The little guy is well-fed and showered with love and affection. His foster mom brings him his bottle, which he eagerly devours while wiggling his ears in delight.
He savors every last drop and never lets any go to waste. Meanwhile, the kitten yearns for constant attention and often cries out for it.
