A blind kitten who was struggling to navigate his surroundings now has a feline companion to guide him and teach him to be brave.

Saving Grace Rescue in San Francisco took in a 4-week-old kitten, named Mochi, with severe eye infections.
Despite losing sight in both eyes, Mochi displayed resilience and strength through his vocal determination.
After receiving medical attention, Mochi was wrapped up like a purrito and settled into a warm, cozy bed with snuggle toys to keep him company.

After being fostered, Mochi was determined to never be alone again. He would often be found tagging along with his foster parents, perched on their shoulders like a parrot kitty or snuggled up in their arms for comfort.
Since he couldn’t see, he relied on his humans to guide him through the world. Over the next few weeks, Mochi continued to improve and became more energetic.

As reported by Joyce, the foster parent, the feline under her care experienced gradual improvement with attentive nurturing.
It was evident to her that he required a feline companion for optimal well-being. Coincidentally, during this time, a tabby kitten named Waffles was brought to Saving Grace Rescue seeking an opportunity for a better life.
Joyce provided him with meticulous grooming, attentive care, and nursed him back to full health.

After Waffles was cleared to socialize with other kittens, Joyce knew exactly who to pair him with. Mochi and Waffles quickly hit it off, becoming great playmates and cuddle buddies, as Joyce shared with Embora Cats.

Waffles has been helping Mochi gain confidence and explore the house more frequently. Specifically, Waffles has been teaching Mochi how to climb onto and off the bed and navigate down stairs safely.

With Waffles by his side, Mochi can confidently explore the world around him. They nap together, play with new toys, and their purring is a constant reminder of the joy they bring. Adopt these two furry friends today and give them a forever home!

After overcoming many hurdles, two boys have found each other and are now seeking a loving home together. Mochi, one of the boys, will have eye surgery to prevent infections when he is big enough.

Mochi has never been happier since Waffles came into his life. Both of them now lead a pampered life as indoor cats, shining like the brightest stars.
