A tiny kitten was found when it was only a few hours old, and now it’s a playful cat with a new friend.
Two months ago, a newborn kitten was rescued from the cold by a Good Samaritan who heard its cries just in time.

After rescuing a kitten that was suffering from hypothermia, the caretaker contacted Saving One Life, a reputable animal rescue organization. The organization quickly arranged for a foster family equipped with an incubator to provide the kitten with the necessary warmth and care.
The kitten was brought to Caroline Grace, a foster volunteer of the rescue, in a hypothermic and non responsive state. Caroline stressed to Embora Cats that newborn kittens are extremely fragile creatures.

For three consecutive days, Caroline worked tirelessly to save the life of a little kitten they named Toby. Through painstaking care, Toby regained his strength and vitality, eagerly latching onto his bottle once more.
As soon as the kitten discovered his purr motor, he started using it whenever he was around his humans. Since he was just five days old, Toby has been purring nonstop.

Upon receiving an upgraded, comfortable playpen, Toby’s behavior shifted, as he became more curious and adventurous, scaling his owner’s legs and exploring his surroundings with newfound curiosity.
Caroline explained that he would let her know his needs by making eye contact and vocalizing loudly.

“He spent most of the day hanging out wherever we were in the house.”
Caroline wanted to introduce the little guy to a friend his size so that he could have a playmate.

Caroline was contacted regarding a group of abandoned kittens who were discovered outside. They were the same age as Toby, who strongly desired constant company, and thus Caroline took them in.
“I agreed to take in these babies so that Toby could have some friends.”

Following the two-week quarantine, they had a proper meet-and-greet, and Toby found himself initially confused about how to behave around other kittens.
Caroline told Embora Cats that he was unfamiliar with playing like other kittens.

After just one day, he became part of the crew, learning how to wrestle and quickly becoming enamored with the sport. He couldn’t get enough of playing and snuggling with his new friends.
Toby had become Penny’s favorite, and she wouldn’t leave his side, always following him around.

Upon meeting, she welcomed him warmly and they began wrestling, quickly becoming fast friends and inseparable companions.
These two best friends are so close that they do everything together. They play, eat, sleep, and snuggle as if they’re joined at the hip.

Caroline told Embora Cats that Toby likes to join when he sees Penny snuggling with someone.
Although Penny is initially shy and hesitant towards new things, she gains confidence and comfort by observing Toby’s actions.

While Penny is the ultimate snuggler who enjoys being held all day and purring in your ear, Toby is more playful and curious about the world. He loves experiencing new sounds, people, places, and things.
The foster siblings are a perfect match because they share a dislike of being alone.

By adopting both of them, they’ll always have each other to play with, explore, and snuggle. “They will never have to (be alone),” Caroline emphasized.
These cats are finding a loving and amazing family who will cherish them and enjoy their affectionate purrs and snuggles.

Toby has come a long way since he was rescued at less than a day old.
He is a miracle baby who was born weak and helpless but has since undergone a stunning transformation. Watching him go from a tiny, fragile newborn to a healthy, chunky, and vivacious boy has been an incredibly beautiful journey.
