Owners Thought Kitten Was Sick, But Gracie is a Wolfcat!

The world is teeming with a vast array of feline varieties and breeds, ranging from plushy, fluffy balls of fur to slick, smooth short-hairs and even to bald cats. But brace yourself for a startling revelation: werewolf cats exist!

In a recent turn of events, an account going by the name Graciewolfcat surfaced on social media with a peculiar video showcasing a kitten that their fostered cat had birthed. The kitten immediately drew attention due to her hairless patches and peculiar fur patterns, which were unlike any other feline coat.

As it turns out, this rare and exceptional genetic mutation gives rise to a distinct breed of cats known as Lykoi or Wolfcats. Little did they know that this video would quickly become an internet sensation, garnering an astounding 6 million views and over 1 million likes, leaving the feline-lovers worldwide spellbound. Gracie is a kitten that looks like a werewolf and became famous on TikTok

I made the decision to foster two pregnant cats that were found at a colony site. They gave birth to their litters six days apart, and after a week, the two mothers came together and began raising all 12 kittens as one big family. They took care of each other’s babies as if they were their own.

Bree from Maine, USA fostered two pregnant cats, and after giving birth, they took care of each other’s kittens.

So, I was checking on my furry friends the other day and I couldn’t help but notice that one of them seemed a bit weaker than usual. And to make matters worse, she was shedding more hair than a cat in a wind tunnel! I got worried sick and immediately took her to the vet to get her checked out.

Among the ordinary kittens, the werewolf kitten stood out due to its unique appearance.

We were all really worried about her, but she bounced back and started to show some small improvements. And then, would you believe it, her hair started growing back! I was so relieved to see her on the up and up.

Bree had concerns about the health of the kitten, but the vet assured her that it is healthy and well.

Bree and the exquisitely charming feline Gracie are present here.

She proceeded to share additional details about herself, stating “I am a dedicated and seasoned professional photographer, specializing in capturing the unforgettable moments of weddings and the miracle of childbirth. Interestingly, I also had the privilege of photographing the birth of the lovely Gracie. Moreover, I am fortunate to have an incredible partner who adores not only Gracie but also our other furry companions. Lastly, I am enamored with my residence nestled in the heart of central Maine.”

Gracie began to sprout a mane, albeit with lingering patches of alopecia. Bree was taken aback by how distinctive her appearance was compared to her siblings.

Bree conducted a thorough investigation and ascertained that this was an uncomplicated, innate genetic anomaly, whereby felines exhibiting this particular trait were designated as Lykoi or Wolf cats.

As I was strolling down the street, a peculiar feline caught my attention. Its black and white peppered hair and bald face intrigued me, but I didn’t dwell on it for too long. However, as time went on and the cat grew bigger, my curiosity got the better of me. I spent hours on Google trying to identify this unique creature. Eventually, after much research, I discovered that she was a Lykoi, more commonly known as a wolfcat.

According to Bree’s extensive findings, wolfcats are not your typical domestic feline. They originated from a natural genetic mutation in feral cat colonies, which is where this Lykoi’s lineage stems from. What sets her apart from other cats is her single coat of fur, which sheds every six months.

As I reminisce about Gracie’s infant days, I recall adoringly inhaling her unique scent and showering her with kisses despite her bald head. Even now, a hint of that cherished aroma lingers, evoking a nostalgic tenderness within me. Although Gracie rebuffs my attempts to smooch her, I cannot help but admire her stunning, oversized eyes. It’s a little strange, but I suppose it’s just one of those endearing quirks of motherhood.

Compared to most cats, kittens with only one coat of fur tend to shed more often.

Meet my feline friend, who is quite unlike any other house cat. Despite being a domesticated pet, she bears a striking resemblance to a werewolf, which immediately sets her apart from the crowd. I delved deeper into her unique traits and discovered that she only sports a single coat of fur, causing her to shed more frequently than her furry counterparts.

Gracie is happy and healthy and has a loving home

In a short amount of time, I managed to capture the attention of millions on TikTok by sharing her incredible story. Her videos have been viewed an astounding 6 million times, with 1.1 million likes to boot! And the best part? Her newfound fame has brought her an impressive 42k followers! But that’s not all – as it turns out, she’s not just any ordinary cat. In fact, her breed, the wolfcat, is worth a staggering $3,000, making the fact that she was obtained for free all the more remarkable!

Inquiring about Gracie’s current state, we consulted with Bree who informed us that Gracie is in excellent health and thriving. Gracie’s daily activities include indulging in naps and playtime, where she displays a fondness for her laser pointer. Whether she’s in pursuit of the elusive red dot or simply engaging with the device itself, Gracie never fails to entertain.

Oh boy, lemme tell you ’bout Gracie! She’s a real adventurer now – she rides shotgun in the car and visits her grammie’s place! And get this, she’s got herself a bubble backpack that her grammie bought for her. It’s her ride and her playhouse, all in one! But when she’s not out there exploring, Gracie can be a bit quiet, not much of a talker.

Whoa, hold onto your hats, folks! The owner just spilled the beans about some of the other critters she’s got running around here. Check this out – she’s got one of the moms of the little furball we were just fawning over, but get this, she doesn’t think it’s actually her real mom! Apparently, the original momma bear, the black one, got really sick a few moons ago and passed away. How heartbreaking is that?

But wait, there’s more! This gal also has a 14-year-old mini dachshund in the mix! And get this – they’re all BFFs! They love each other and get along like two peas in a pod. Ain’t that just the cutest thing you ever did see?

It’s always a rollercoaster ride when you’re talking about animals, isn’t it? One minute you’re all ooohing and ahhing over their adorable faces, and the next, your heart is breaking over their sad stories. But that’s just the circle of life, I reckon.
