A Solitary Kitten Was Rescued From the Outdoors, Found Comfort on a Warm Lap and Won’t Let Go

A tuxedo kitten was found wandering the streets without a mother in sight. He was in poor shape and taken to a pound where his fate became uncertain.

Despite being small and fragile, the kitten’s unwavering determination inspired a group of volunteers to reach out to local rescues in the hopes of finding it a chance at a better life.

Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue organization based in Montreal, Canada, was informed about a kitten in need and offered immediate assistance.

“We named Him Binx, who weighed only 450 grams and was just skin and bones.” Celine Crom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal told Embora Cats.

The kitten was brought to the veterinary clinic to receive the necessary medical attention. Following treatment that included the cleaning of his eyes and nose, he exhibited signs of hunger and promptly ate his meal.

Jess, a foster volunteer of the rescue, picked him up and as she held him in her arms, the little tuxedo cat snuggled in and started purring with contentment.

He was so happy to be loved that he went right to sleep.

As a result of receiving proper medical care and consuming a nutritious diet, Binx began to put on weight and gain strength.

Despite the abundance of cat beds and soft surfaces, he consistently sought out his foster mom’s lap for some much-needed tender loving care.

Celine, who spoke to Embora Cats, shared that Binx is a playful and energetic cat who loves to talk and cuddle with friends.

“You always know where he is. He needs attention and to be close to his humans at all times.”

During a recent visit, Binx found a new family and chose to stay on their lap instead of playing with a feather toy.

Finally, after waiting for so long, his dream was realized on that day when he went to his new home with his forever family.

Celine informed us that upon his arrival, he was on the brink of death, but now, thanks to their assistance, he is thriving and has a bright future ahead.

Since joining his new family, Binx has been showered with love and affection, no longer needing to fend for himself on the streets. He’s formed a strong bond with his caregivers and is often seen enjoying their company while being carried around.

The little former stray has blossomed into a handsome, happy cuddle-bug.

While he may love to run around and play, he also enjoys taking a break to snuggle in a warm lap and receive some much-needed love and affection.
