This adorable kitten was found outside and has since become attached to her humans. She insists on sitting on a warm lap, watching her people, and never leaving their side.
When 5 newborn kittens were found without a mom, they were brought to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in Virginia.
Penny Richards, a foster volunteer, quickly took them in and set up a cozy nest with heated blankets and a cuddle toy.
She made sure to feed them around the clock and even had to put tiny protective onesies on them to prevent them from suckling on each other.
Piccadilly, also known as Dilly, was the smallest and pickiest eater of the litter. Penny had to provide extra encouragement by starting her feeds first and offering more once the others had finished.
Dilly was the last to open her eyes and immediately took to her humans. Penny shared with Love Meow that Dilly is a people-lover who enjoys observing her surroundings since infancy.
Despite her noise when awake, Dilly snuggles with her cuddle toy lamb and sleeps in funny positions.
Dilly is a small but feisty tabby kitten. She’s always been vocal and unafraid to share her opinions. At three weeks old, she and her siblings started to move around and playfully wrestle with each other.
As Dilly grew bigger and more energetic, her sassy attitude came out in full swing. She was one of the first to check out the fuzzy ball toys and hit them back and forth in the playpen.
After her crazy bursts of play, she always came running to her foster mom and fell asleep on her lap.
Penny shared with Embora Cats how Dilly, the cat, would always climb onto her lap for snuggles and purr contently. Dilly was very observant and would closely watch her foster mom with big doe eyes.
Although she was smaller than her littermates when they arrived at two days old, she quickly gained a playful and rambunctious personality.
Nine weeks later, she was still the smallest of the litter, but had grown more active and was always on the lookout for trouble around the house.
Piccadilly has a big personality crammed into her tiny body. She loves to nap on warm laps and is a known sleep twitcher, sometimes sleeping with her eyes open. Overall, she has been a joy to have around since day one.
Penny shared that although Dilly was bold and entertaining, she also had a sweet side. Dilly would watch Penny’s every move and loved to cuddle on her lap, often sleeping next to her.
After the kittens were adopted, Dilly the tabby girl quickly found her forever home with a loving family. She never stopped purring and would come running whenever her name was called.
Dilly and Ronan are two peas in a pod! After just a few days together, Ronan took the adorable little Dilly under her wing, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Dilly loves to follow Ronan everywhere she goes, playing with her tail and trying to copy her every move. And when they’re not busy playing, they love nothing more than snuggling up by the window and watching the world go by.
