A Family Found A Crying Kitten In A Bag With Its Littermates, And It Changed Their Lives

Earlier this year, In Toronto, a Good Samaritan found a suspicious plastic bag in a dumpster after hearing a kitten crying.

As he lifted it, he was shocked to discover that it was not alone but had a litter of day-old kittens snuggled up together. Among them, a little tuxedo was crying loudly, calling out for its mother.

The man found some kittens and brought them to his daughter, who, with her friend, looked after them all night before taking them to the Toronto Humane Society.

“If it wasn’t for the tuxedo’s screaming, they probably wouldn’t have been found,” Tania, a foster volunteer of the Toronto Humane Society, shared with Embora Cats.

With the assistance of volunteers, Charlie (tuxedo), Nova (tortie), and Suarez (tortie) survived and began thriving. By the second week, their eyes opened, and once they gained enough strength, they started using their legs to waddle.

“The baby cats got used to people fast and were friendly, they knew they would be taken care of.” Tania told Embora Cats.

I fostered these kittens from three weeks until they were adopted after being spayed/neutered.

These little balls of fur were always in a healthy and happy state. They took pleasure in cuddling up with me and playing with each other.

The young women remained captivated by the kittens, keeping up with their foster journey on social media. They delighted in watching them transform from tiny wonders into affectionate lap cats, and then into lively mischief-makers.

The kittens quickly figured out that warm laps were the perfect place to sit or nap. They would often curl up in Tania’s lap together, hugging each other and purring contentedly.

Suarez would snuggle on my lap after eating, and I’d brush her fur while she gazed at me. Then she’d let out a burp and toot before napping inches from my face.

Nova was reserved but found comfort in being cradled by her foster mom. Charlie, on the other hand, was a lovable feline who never tired of giving hugs.

When the trio were big enough for adoption, they quickly had perfect homes lined up for them.

Suarez was adopted by a family with an orange cat named Leo as her big brother. They became friends after some initial hisses, and Leo gives her baths every day.

Two young women who cared for the kittens on the rescue day, adopted Charlie and Nova, ensuring the siblings have future play dates together. Nova is bonding well with her new big brother Milo, while Charlie has taken charge of his new kingdom.

Charlie and Nova have many play dates together, and Milo enjoys having Charlie around and adores him just as much as he does Nova.

The kittens are growing rapidly, with Nova and Suarez eagerly following their tabby brothers around the house. Meanwhile, Charlie, the affectionate feline, seeks out warm laps to snuggle and spread joy.
