When Caroline Grace, the founder of Baby Kitten Rescue in Los Angeles, heard about three orphaned kittens in need of urgent rescue, she immediately rushed to the local shelter. Unfortunately, the shelter was not equipped with the resources or overnight staff to provide the necessary 24-hour care the kittens needed.

“Baby Kitten Rescue responded to their plea for help by the end of the day,” Caroline told Embora Cats.
At only two days old, the odds were stacked against the two calico and one tuxedo kittens. Despite being tiny, hungry, and covered in filth and fleas, the kittens found comfort in huddling together.

Caroline observed that the animals were in a terrible state, indicating that they had been motherless for an extended period.
After receiving immediate treatment for a bacterial infection, the trio’s condition improved within 24 hours, and they experienced a significant increase in appetite.

Anna, the calico kitten with a cute black nose, may have been the smallest of the litter, but she had a lot to say and the loudest voice. During feeding time, she made sure to use her pipes effectively and demanded to be fed first.
She discovered her purr motor at 4-5 days old and would rumble away nonstop.

Caroline shared with Embora Cats that Anna’s eyes did not start opening until she was 14 days old and were not fully open until 16 days old, after both of her siblings had already opened theirs.
While Anna was a late bloomer compared to her littermates, once she got a peek into her surroundings, her sassy personality came out in full swing.

Anna the little sister turned out to be the feistiest and bravest kitten.

According to Caroline, there was one individual in the group who had a very sassy personality. As soon as the incubator door opened, she would yell loudly and confidently.

This little feline expresses her desire for a bottle with a loud scream, then begins to purr, emitting the loudest purr of them all. She even communicates mid-purr. After each feeding, she enjoys kneading, also known as making biscuits, while receiving snuggles and kisses.
Despite her small size and weight, Anna’s personality compensates for it, making her stand out among the litter.

After spending 3.5 weeks in the incubator, the kittens have now graduated to a more spacious suite, where they have plenty of room to play and explore.

Caroline told Embora Cats that Sven is a sweet tuxedo cat with a cute ‘milk dipped’ white chin, and Elsa is the most gentle and mellow cat with a soft meow and adorable eyes.

Elsa is very close to Anna and loves snuggling with her, keeping her company, and showering her with affection.
They enjoy napping and having their arms around each other, like two peas in a pod.

These kittens are in great health, have a plump and healthy bodies, and have a charming personalities. It is a pure joy to take care of them.
