A Stray Cat Sought Out a Family’s Home for Help so She Could have Her Kittens in a Safe Place

In the first half of this month, Sandy, a resident of Arizona, discovered a stray cat in her backyard. The cat, who had been living outside and wandering the streets, made a stop at Sandy’s house to beg for food.

After offering the sweet cat a full meal and fresh water, Sandy noticed a bulge around its belly, which led her to believe that the cat might be pregnant.

After the meal, the amiable feline approached Sandy for some pets. It then followed her around the porch as if it had no intention of leaving. Sandy realized that the cat needed a home for her kittens and couldn’t bear to abandon her and the little ones to their fate.

To ensure her kittens never had to spend a day outside, she brought the friendly tabby inside to a spare bedroom.

The affectionate cat felt right at home as she stretched out on the soft blanket, nestling her head on the fabric and emitting a low, rumbling purr of contentment.

The pregnant woman was delighted to be indoors, and she eagerly rolled around on every blanket she received. She even showed off her belly, inviting others to give her belly rubs.

Sandy sought assistance from Jen, a foster volunteer at Jin’s Bottle Babies, to ensure that the cat and her kittens receive the best care and find good homes. Jen shared with Embora Cats that Sandy reached out to her via message and the timing was perfect.

Upon returning home, Sandy was greeted with a heartwarming surprise: her devoted mother was already nursing five healthy newborns.

“We named them after shades of green because they were born on St. Patrick’s Day – Meet Momma Jade, Hunter, Emerald, Kelly, Olive, and Forest.”

On Friday, Jin’s Bottle Babies took in an entire family of six. According to Jen from Embora Cats, Mama Cat is very sweet and outgoing. When Jen arrived to pick them up, Mama approached her on the floor and asked for chin scratches.

After exploring her new surroundings, Jade sought affection from her foster mom, who provided her with the love and care she needed. With an abundance of food and blankets at her disposal, she was content.

After settling in, she’s become very attached to me, and when the babies aren’t nursing, she always gets up to follow me while chirping. Her strong sense of curiosity compels her to explore new areas too, such as when I open the closet.

Jade swiftly adjusted to the sounds and smells of indoor living and became very comfortable with Jen’s presence. She allowed Jen to weigh her babies and change and clean their bedding, showing deep appreciation.

According to Jen, the babies are growing rapidly and gaining weight as they should. While they eat, Jade purrs and they all cuddle up and fall asleep.

While accompanying me, my pet emits chirping sounds and vocalizes meows in response to my questions, occasionally resembling the word “no.”

The rescue organization is taking steps to spay and neuter stray cats in the neighborhood while ensuring the welfare of fostered cats under their care.

Although Momma Jade is devoted to her kittens, she hasn’t had a chance to enjoy lap time. However, Jen expects that when the kittens become more independent, she will blossom into a full-fledged cuddle-bug and enjoy some much-needed affection.

According to Jen’s statement to Embora Cats, once the kittens mature and her comfy chair is relocated, her cat will crawl onto her lap for chin rubs and will often wind between her legs while she serves snacks.

The one-week-old kittens’ eyes are beginning to open, and their mother, Jade, ensures they are kept spotlessly clean.

When Jade needed a safe place for her babies, she found the perfect family to help her out.

When she found out she was pregnant, she knew exactly who to turn to. It’s really special to see them open up and allow humans to help.
